Holla offers remarkably fast matching times, and virtually all of its users are genuine, real people (although the matching filters are largely ineffective). However, there are some significant issues.
Holla's online counter is not real data. The server returns a random seed between 30k and 38k on every request, and the browser then fakes live movement by adding 1-50 or subtracting 1-30 on a coin flip every 3 seconds. The counter is wired to no presence or socket source at all; it is purely cosmetic. Also, you have to close 3 to 4 pop-ups before you can start a chat.
As its final evaluation score falls below 55, we do not recommend Holla until these issues are resolved.
